The main barrier that hindered the activities of companies in June was high employee costs, but the importance of this element fell within a month by 3 points. percent up to 68 percent – results from the study of the Polish Economic Institute.

In turn, more companies than a month earlier complain about the uncertainty of the economic situation (60 percent; MDM increase by 3 percentage points), unavailability of employees (47 percent; MDM increase by 3 percentage points), payment grinders (47 percent; MDM increase by 5 percent point) and inaccessibility of products (17 percent; MDM increase by 4 percentage point).

On the other hand, slightly fewer companies indicated rising energy prices (53 percent; MDM decrease by 1 percentage point) and financing costs (28 %; MDM decrease by 4 percentage points).

Production companies indicate three out of seven business barriers more often than other industries: rising employee costs (75 percent), rising energy prices (61 percent) and inaccessibility of products (20 %).

Commercial companies (65 % and 52 percent respectively) complain about difficulties related to economic uncertainty and payment grinders.

Problems related to the inaccessibility of employees most often bother construction companies (64 percent), and rising financing costs – entities from the TSL industry (37 %). (PAP Biznes)
