The US Department of State ordered American diplomats in Lebanon on Sunday, not having the most important functions, and their families, leaving the country in connection with the US attacks on Iran.

The American embassy in Beirut informed that due to the “unstable and unpredictable situation in the region of” Families of Diplomats and “representatives of the American government” who do not perform basic functions in the institution, they received an order to leave the country from the Department of State.
President of Lebanon Joseph Aoun posted a statement on Platform X, in which he wrote that US attacks on nuclear facilities in Iran may lead to a regional conflict, with which “no country can handle” and called for peace negotiations.
“Lebanon, its leaders, parties and its nation are today aware, more than ever before, that they have paid a great price for wars that broke out in this land and in this region,” said Aun and added that Lebanon “does not want to pay this price anymore.” (PAP).
