Luke Williams, 44, until February 2025 coach at Swansea City, in Championship, is now working at the airport in Bristol. He is in the notice period, being still paid by the club until the end of the contract.
Between January 2024 and February 2025, English Luke Williams, former “second” of Russell Martin at MK Dons and Swansea City, was a head coach at the Welsh band, the second English football rank.
Williams was dismissed in mid -February, as Swansea had only one of the last 10 matches played. He entered what the English calls “gardening leave” – practically, a period of leave / suspension that serves as notice. He is still paid by Swansea City, but he doesn't work there anymore.

A coach otherwise: he works at the airport after he was kicked out of Championship!
In this context, one that does not allow them to make another commitment in football, Williams chose to engage at Bristol airporta city in southwestern England, near the border with Wales.
Swansea's former coach already has two weeks of work there in a role that assumes Passenger assistance with reduced disabilities and mobility in the airport terminal.
Sources close to the coach, quoted by The Athletic, explained that Williams “does not do this out of the need for money, but because he was eager to take the time with something significant, instead of staying at home.”
In fact, in an interview given in the first part of 2024, the Englishman told how over the years he had unique jobs for football people.
In an attempt to raise money for coach classes, loaded trucks for a UK store chain and was a minibuse driver who took or carried customers and passengers (of) at nightclubs or airports.
Swansea City ended the Championship season in the 11th place. Under the command of the new coach, Irish Alan Sheehan, the Welsh recorded at the end of the season a series of 5 consecutive victories.
