Prosecutor General Adam Bodnar reported that he had submitted an application for admission of evidence from the inspection of electoral cards in one of the committees in Biszcza (Biłgoraj poviat), which – as he emphasized – would determine whether “any errors are the result of unconscious mistakes”.

“Based on the analysis of subsequent election protests transferred by the Supreme Court, I submitted an application for admission of evidence from the inspection of electoral cards in one of the committees in Biszcza (Biłgoraj poviat)” – wrote Bodnar on Platform X.
He emphasized that “this would allow to determine if any errors are the result of unconscious mistakes.”
There are more protests that went to Bodnar
Prosecutor General Adam Bodnar received a total of 172 election protests from the Supreme Court regarding the validity of the election of the President of the Republic of Poland and took a position in 111 of them – the spokeswoman of PG, prosecutor Anna Adamiak, was given in the Friday message.
In the prosecutor's announcement, Adamiak also stated that “the analysis of protests transferred by the Supreme Court showed the legitimacy of the formulation of the next application by the Prosecutor General to this authority for admission of evidence from taking an inspection of electoral cards”. It is about voices cast in the second round of presidential elections in one of the regional committees in Biszcza (Biłgoraj poviat).
“In the opinion of Adam Bodnar, taking the correct position as to the legitimacy of the protest assessed, due to the information it contains, it should be preceded by the recalculation of votes cast in this committee” – noted in the communiqué. It was pointed out that the findings require not only the actual number of votes cast there for individual candidates, but also the correctness of entering these data to the final reports of voting results in this regional commission.
As reported, the Prosecutor General requested that the judges of the Chamber of Extraordinary Control and Public Affairs of the Supreme Court be excluded from the examination of this case and to transfer it to the judges of the Supreme Court's Labor and Social Insurance Association, “guaranteeing judicial impartiality and independence”.
