In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, over the past 8 days, 1,506 inhabitants turned to doctors with complaints of suction of ticks, 277 children. This was reported in Rospotrebnadzor.

In total, from the beginning of the season, the region has officially registered 11,693 ticks affected by the attack. Of these, 118 fell ill with tick -borne infections: 55 viral encephalitis, 51 borreliosis, and 11 Siberian tick -borne ticks, and 1 Erlichiosis – 1.
The total area of acaricidal treatments in the region is more than 4.3 thousand hectares.
To prevent the attacks of ticks, epidemiologists ask residents to observe personal prevention measures.
