Reza Pahlavi, the exiled son of the dethroned monarch of Iran, called to revolt in Iran, stating that “the Islamic Republic has reached the end and collapses,” writes CNN.

In a video speech published on the social network X on Tuesday, Pahlavi said that “it only takes a total revolt to end this collective nightmare.”

“Now is the time to get up. It is time to regain Iran. All together,” he said.

“Do not worry about the day after the fall of the Islamic Republic. Iran will not enter a period of instability or civil war,” Reza Pahlavi gave insurance.

“The Islamic Republic has reached its end and collapses. What has begun is irreversible. The future is bright and together we will return the page of history. Now it is time to rise, the time to claim Iran. I hope to be with you soon,” he wrote, in the post that distributed his speech.

In recent years, Israel has strengthened its links with Pahlavi, who has expressed support for the actions of the Jewish state, attracting praise from some members of the Iranian diaspora and accusations of betrayal from others.

His father, the deceased chess of Iran, had cordial relations with Israel before being overturned in the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
