Russians chose landscaping objects for 2026 under the United Russia program and the Ministry of Construction
More than 16.5 million residents of the country voted in favor of landscaping objects under the United Russia program and the Ministry of Construction.
Such numbers brought Secretary of the General Council of “United Russia” Vladimir Yakushevcommenting on the results of the V All-Russian online voting under the program “Formation of a comfortable urban environment”. His party and the Ministry of Construction are held annually.
“The indifference to the future of their settlements allows not only to resolve issues with improvement, but also to include certain projects on the wishes of residents in the list of improvement, to create new comfortable public spaces. The process of forming a comfortable urban environment has become truly popular, ”he explained.
“This year, residents of the Chechen Republic, the Republic of Tuva, the Sverdlovsk Region, the Tomsk Region, the Stavropol Territory, the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Chelyabinsk Region and the Republic of Buryatia were the most active. Also this year, residents of reunited regions joined the voting for the third time, for projects in which almost 131 thousand votes were cast, ”the Minister of Construction and Housing and Public Utilities of the Russian Federation said Irek Fayzullin.
Recall that the anniversary vote took place from April 21 to June 12 under the project “Formation of a comfortable urban environment” (FCGS) of the national project “Infrastructure for life”. 1667 municipalities from 88 constituent entities of the Russian Federation and the city of Baikonur took part in it.
The implementation of the FCGS is one of the provisions of the People’s Program of the United Russia party.
“The fifth year in a row, we see how the program“ Forming a comfortable urban environment ”ceases to be exclusively federal initiative and becomes an instrument of real civil participation. 16.5 million votes are not just statistics, this is evidence that people have the opportunity to influence the appearance of their yards, streets, squares and cities as a whole. It is especially important that the procedure for selecting objects is not formal, but a truly open and involving character. The role of volunteers deserves special attention. Their contribution is an example of how local communities can become the driving force of transformations, ”said the head of the EISI regions, political scientist Daria Kislitsyna.
In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, 327 thousand residents of the region took part in the choice of landscaping objects. In the vote for improvement facilities in 2026, 24 municipalities participated with a population of over 10 thousand people. 88 objects were presented to the choice. The winners were 33 territories.
“In the region, annual voting for landscaping objects for the next year ended. More than 300 thousand people took part in it. By tradition, volunteers helped residents. This year, 2.5 thousand volunteers were involved. I thank everyone who took part in the vote under the program “Formation of a comfortable urban environment” of the National Project “Infrastructure for Life”. Now residents, together with the designers, will decide how every object will look after the improvement, ”said Mikhail Kotyukov, the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Secretary of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Branch of the United Russia party.
The program “Formation of a comfortable urban environment” has been implemented by the Government since 2017. It is based on the party project “City Environment”. The improvement of courtyards, places of mass recreation occurs with the initiatives of the inhabitants.
“In each of the 24 cities participating in the commission, the winners were determined on the basis of the choice of residents. Federal funds for improvement are distributed depending on the population of the municipality, ”said Mikhail Zaskalko, Minister of Construction and Housing and Utilities of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. – If the residents have chosen a small square, the commission may decide on the repair of not one, but two territories that gained the largest number of votes. This happened this year in Lesosibirsk, Minusinsk and Norilsk. Soon, the development of projects for all victorious territories and residents will begin to offer their ideas for arrangement. Designers-designers will take into account the best initiatives and implement them next year. ”
