Sepsi OSK has a coach for the future competition season. The Covasnens have dramatically relegated to Liga 2, but they have as objective the immediate promotion in the Superliga. The coach who will have the mission to carry out the return on the first stage of Romanian football is Ovidiu Burcă (45 years).
As GSP.ro announced since Sunday eveningthe technician, left free of the contract, had to develop only a few details with Laszlo Dioszegi before putting his signature. On Monday, the two parties had a new series of negotiations, set the latest issues and reached an agreement for Ovidiu Burcă to take Sepsi.

Sepsi has been in the last few weeks in search of a new technician to take over the team and succeed in returning to the first league. The negotiations with them were blocked, and the last “runway” addressed was Ovidiu Burcă, a technician left free after the last time he prepared Otelul Galați, for 3 months, until March 2025.
In fact, Ovidiu Burcă has negotiated in the last days and with another second division, Chindia Târgoviște, with whom he had reached a verbal agreement, but eventually the move to Dâmbovițeni fell, being elected Ilie Poenaru, who was presented on Monday.
Although Burcă had already begun to prepare the strategy at Chindia, the last -minute offer from Sepsi made him change and choose the version proposed by Laszlo Dioszegi, considering that it is a greater opportunity for him.
