In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Achinsk, an investigation of a criminal case was completed on charges of a local resident of the murder of a friend in 2003.
The regional train explained that almost 22 years ago, on the night of October 18 to 19, two guys decided to find out the relationship. His friend came with one of them. It was he who, when the quarrel outgrew into a fight, took a baseball bat and hit his opponent on the head several times.
“The strikes inflicted were so strong that the bat broke into pieces. The 18-year-old victim died, and friends disappeared from the scene of the crime, ”the investigation department said.
A criminal case was opened on this fact under part 1 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, but the guys could not prove the involvement in the murder. Recently, they returned to the consideration of the case. The materials were re -studied, witnesses were called for interrogation.
“During the interrogation, the defendant of the case said that the crime was committed by a friend who died a few years ago. But the investigating authorities conducted a psychophysiological study using a polygraph. The accused revealed significant reactions regarding the circumstances of the crime that diverged with his testimony, ”the press service explained.
Under the weight of the evidence presented, the man admitted to his deed. When checking the testimony on the spot, the defendant spoke in detail about the circumstances of the incident.
Currently, the criminal case was sent to the prosecutor to approve the indictment and subsequent referral to the court for consideration on the merits.
