Carlos Alcaraz (22 years old, 2 ATP), the champion at Roland Garros, arrived in London, where he will take part in the Queen´s grass tournament and talked about the days he spent in Ibiza.
Carlos Alcaraz took a few days off, after he triumphed for the second time at Roland Garros. The destination was Ibiza, as he did last year, a decision that many criticized after watching the documentary on Netflix entitled “Carlos Alcaraz-in my style”.

However, Carlos Alcaraz did not change his routine and after imposing in front of Jannik Sinner last Sunday, he left for Ibiza to relax. He did this and on Saturday he arrived in London to play on Monday in the Queen´s tournament, the ATP 500 competition, which the Spanish won in 2023.
“I think it is the best time of the year to take a few days off, it will become a tradition. It doesn't matter where you go, it is about being able to rest physically and mentally. I feel I can return with more energy now,” he started the London Conference
Then he continued. “This year I took it easier. It was three days of rest, more than enough, but I only went out one night. In the other two, I was in bed before midnight, I get old, my body does not resist the same,” he said, causing laughter. “It was fun and more than enough, I rested a lot in every way,” the Spaniard said.

Because in the documentary, the idea that his team did not agree with last year's getaway was insinuated, Alcaraz was asked what the people around him were now.
“No one tried to stop me from going because they knew very well that I would be one hundred percent. I am very happy that this year they supported me in this way, telling me to go where I want, to disconnect. To feel supported when you make decisions is important. Every year we learn and adapt to what is happening.
Maybe in a few years I will not be able to make this journey, but now, this disconnection is good for me. I want to make my own decisions and make mistakes if I have to, “said Carlos Alcaraz, who will debut against Alejandro Davidovich at Queen's.
