The Romanian authorities are in contact with several groups of Romanian citizens in Israel and Iran, including a group of pilgrims in Bethleem, the priority being their security.

At this moment, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs centralizes the requests received from the Romanian citizens in the state of Israel and in the Islamic Republic, both at the level of the diplomatic missions and the consular office of Romania in the two states and at the level of the MAE power plant.
According to the MAE spokesman, Andrei Tarnea, said that there are several groups of Romanian citizens, in Israel, including Bethleem, but also in Iran and Jordan, with whom the connection is kept and solutions are being safe for extracting them, writes News.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that, in the context of the most recent evolutions of the security situation affecting the territory of the state of Israel and the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran, according to information communicated by the foreign authorities, the air spaces of the two states are still closed, and the canceled air races.
The Ministry of Foreign Aly states that it is closely related to its international partners and continues to cooperate in order to analyze the best options to support the affected persons in this context, in order to facilitate their return to the country, in safe conditions.
These steps are closely related to the evolutions of the security situation and the decisions of the relevant authorities in the state of Israel and the Islamic Republic, the ministry shows.
