The 47-year-old pretended to be a doctor and performed examinations for a fee using the entitled doctor's stamp. He faces up to five years in prison.


Prosecutor Marcin Kubiak from the press office of the District Prosecutor's Office in Ostrów Wlkp. Told PAP that a 47-year-old man from the Ostrzeszów poviat heard the allegation of falsification of medical records.
“40 people have already been questioned in the case. There are still 110 victims to hear. The investigation prosecutor is considering extending the content of the allegations,” he said.
The man confessed to the alleged act. He faces up to five years in prison.
The victim in the case is children's neurologist and pediatrician Iwona Terczyńska from Warsaw. In March this year On the website of the Polish Society of Children's Neurologists, the doctor posted an entry in which she informed patients that in one of the specialist clinics in Ostrów Wlkp. her data was used to authorize EEG research, which she did not describe.
She appealed that the results made in this clinic would not take into account, because someone forged her signature and stamp. She notified the District Prosecutor's Office in Ostrów Wlkp about the case.
Investigators determined that the man rented a office in one of the Ostrów clinics, where he “specialized in performing EEG research.” He collected money from patients for conducting the examination and description of the result.
