The latest section of the A0 Belt Highway of the Capital received a green construction wave throughout this year, and two builders will be responsible for the 18 km to join DN1 until the continuation to A1. Once completed, it will be the last piece of puzzle that will form the A0 highway of almost 100 kilometers that surround the capital.
“The works on lot 1 of the North A0 advance,” announces the road company, which explains that the site was divided into two, a piece to a builder.
On this lot, in length of 17.5 km, there are two entrepreneurs from a Romanian-Italian association who carry out activities on distinct sectors. The two constructions signed a contract in the autumn of 2023 for 815 million lei, with 12 months design and 22 months execution.
The first partial building permit came only in 2024, and only this year in February the whole section received a green wave for works.
“The Romanian (Retter Management) builder deals with the construction of the 8 km sector between km 12+120 and km 20+000 (Buftea DN1A – Corbeanca DN1)”, CNAIR tells what kind of works:
- Deading vegetable land,
- stabilization of foundation land,
- filling terrace
- tubular and tubular bridges,
- short -term parking (km 14+500).
In parallel works at: - Downloading of archaeological sites (km 18+303 and km 13+900) and at the release of the utility site at various points of the site,
- Pass over CF101 (Bucharest – Pitești), with a length of 733 m,
- Passage over the Colentina river, CF 300 (Bucharest – Ploiești) and CF Mogoșoaia – Buftea, with a total length of 650 m,
- Road nodes at intersections with DN7 and DN1A,
- Bridges on the highway over the Dâmbovița river (km 2+999) and over the Bâldana river (km 4+024).
“The Italian builder (Pizzarotti) works on the sector between km 2 + 500 and km 12 + 120,”, details CNAIR.
According to the Road Company, Pizzarotti carries out the following activities:
- relocating utilities,
- Decoping vegetable layer and stabilization of foundation land in the area of the road node with DN1A,
- Decoping and stabilization of foundation land between km 2+500 and km 8+000.
