How did Israeli aviation hindered Iran's plan to launch a 1,000 rocket dam on Israel

An unprecedented major attack was prevented by Israel's aerial blows. Behind the curtain, in Tehran, frustration has increased, and fears about internal riots have become real, writes ynetnews.com.

Iran intended to launch up to 1,000 ballistic missiles on Israel, in a movement that would have aimed to overcome the defense capacities of the “Iron Dome” system and the challenge of maximum damage. The plan, however, could not be implemented. According to an article published on Saturday by The New York Times, citing sources from the revolutionary guard, the operation was prevented by Israeli air attacks, which directly hit the Iranian missile bases.
The reports inside the Tehran regime talk about the inability of the army to transport and position the missiles from the warehouses to the launch ramps. Finally, Iran managed to launch about 100 missiles – a fraction of what was planned.
A military failure with political echoes
In an emergency meeting of the Iranian National Security Council, the leaders discussed not only about the military response, but also about the possible internal social consequences. A high official would have warned that in the case of an Israeli attack on the water or energy infrastructure, the population could go out. The regime, already tense of recurrent protests in recent years, is afraid of a wave of challenge triggered not by reforms, but of war.
The frustration of the Iranian officials was amplified by the failure of the air defense systems, unable to reject the Israeli raids. In internal communications obtained by The New York Times, members of the military elite express anger from the inability to protect the strategic bases. The officials cited by the American publication said that the repairs were made quickly, but the damage already produced had direct effects on the reaction capacity.
Damage and losses in Israel
The Iranian attack, even reduced to the initial plan, was not without consequences. At least four people were killed and tens injured, mainly in Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan and Rishon Lection, where several homes were badly damaged.
Although Iran has transmitted, through the FARS agency, that “the war will expand in the coming days” and that the “American bases in the region will become targets”, international evaluations remain cautious. In the game it is not only the direct confrontation with Israel, but also the risk of a regional conflict to attract the United States.
A strategic confrontation, a society to the limit
With all the statements of force, the regime from Tehran seems aware of the fragility of the moment. A failed major attack is not just a military failure – it is also a crack in the regional power image that Iran is trying to design.
Israel, through surgical strokes, has not only been able to reduce the risks of a massive attack, but also to expose the real limits of the Iranian response. And in a region where the image matters almost as much reality, this has weight.
