The creators “Brother 2” disheve “the Russian world for using the image of Danila Bagrov. Now the brand is obliged to pay 134k rubles.
The film company “STV”, which shot “Brother 2”, filed a lawsuit against Russian Mir LLC for T -shirts. The main concept of the online store is the display of Russian culture. The Omsk brand sells clothes with Orthodox holy, historical personalities and characters of cult Russian films.
The creators of the film decided that the t -shirts depict not an actor, but the main character of their film. And the owners of LLC, on the contrary, assured that it was Sergey Bodrov. The court found the arguments of STV more convincing and decided: the “Russian world” should pay 133,974 rubles for compensation for copyright.
In the future, the brand plans to obtain permission from the film company for printing T -shirts with the image of Sergei Bodrov.
