“Grupa Azoty's management board informs that On June 11, 2025, the Company's Supervisory Board adopted a resolution on entrusting Mr. Andrzej Skolmowski to the function of the President of the Management Board of the XIII term” – we read in a Wednesday message, which appeared in the evening.
Andrzej Skolmowski has so far been the vice president, and from May 12, 2025 he was the President of the Management Board until the appointment of the president as a result of the initiated qualification procedure.
“I am entrusting me with the function of the president of the management” – said the president quoted in the announcement.
“The task for the board is primarily Achieving an agreement with financing institutions and regaining long -term financial stability and operational restructuring of the entire capital groupwhich will ensure the profitability of business activities and development in new areas, “he emphasized.
He added that the Azoty Group must work comprehensively and boldly.
Andrzej Skolmowski – Who is he?
Andrzej Skolmowski has so far been the vice president of the board. He is an economistmanager with more than twenty -five years of experience in management, restructuring and finance of enterprises, as well as strategic consulting.
In March 2024, he was appointed as a vice president responsible, among others for finance, controlling, corporate risk, cyber security and investor relations. Since April 2024, he has been the chairman of the Supervisory Board of Grupa Azoty Police, and from January 2025 he sits on the supervisory board of Grupa Azoty Puławy.
In 2024 he returned to the company after a long break. Already in the years 2009 – 2016 he was the vice president of Grupa Azoty.
In 2019-2024 he served in management functions in companies in the biotechnology industry, as well as modern technological solutions for business using artificial intelligence, Cloud Solutions and IT infrastructure. From 2016, he was also involved as a business advisor and investor in the creation and management of startups, creating business structures for investor groups and management of fund investments.
