Serious accident between a minibus and a van, in Brăila county. One man died and another 13 were injured

One man died and another 13 people were taken to the hospital on Wednesday morning, after a minibus and a utility vehicle collided, on DN 2B, in the area of Făurei in Brăila county, announces IPJ Brăila.
The accident occurred around 05.10, at the intersection of DN 2B with DJ 203.
According to the police, from the first investigations on the spot it turned out that a 54 -year -old man from Suceava County, while driving a utility vehicle on DJ 203, from the direction of Făurei to Ulmu, at the intersection with DN 2B, collided with a minibus led by a 44 -year -old man, from Galai, from Galati county.
“On the spot, crews of the ambulance, SMURD and unloading from the ISU Danube Brăila were trapped, being transported to 12 victims from the minibus and a passenger from the utility,” said IPJ Brăila.
Following the impact, the driver of the utility vehicle, the 54 -year -old man, died.
Police are continuing investigations to accurately establish the circumstances in which the accident occurred.
