Campaign at Did it in Poland. Here are Polish innovations that change the world

This experience of being part of a generation of a breakthrough gives me a unique perspective – because I know how huge distance Poland managed to overcome. I also know how important it is for us to finally start talking loudly that we, Poles and Poles, did great things together! That is why we promote our successes, show innovations and people who stand behind them. Not only to build our image abroad – but above all so that Poles themselves believe in the strength of their own abilities.
Today, as the Undersecretary of State in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, dealing with EU matters, I see it even more clearly. Poland is no longer a student in the European class. We are co -authors of the textbook from which others learn modernity, innovation and entrepreneurship. That's why the campaign “We did it in Poland”covered by the patronage of the Polish presidency, it is more than just a promotional slogan for me – this is proof that we finally saw our own capabilities and stopped being afraid to talk about them loudly.
From the stereotype to success
Until recently, 41 percent Poles thought that our country was behind other European economies. Meanwhile, the facts contradict this belief – Poland has been one of the fastest growing economies on the continent for over 35 years, in 2025 our growth rate will be 3.5 percent, almost twice as much as in developed economies.
This is no accident. This is the result of years of hard work, entrepreneurship and innovative thinking. A great example are projects that change the world – from advanced earth monitoring from space, through innovative solutions in the field of predicting natural disasters, to mobile payment systems and service platforms that improve everyday life for millions of people. Such solutions not only facilitate functioning – they redefine standards in their industries. These are the stories that we want to tell – because they are real, inspiring and ours.
Poland – a country of possibilities, not complexes
There is something special about the fact that we haven't believed in our strength for so long. Maybe this is the effect of history, maybe innate caution, or maybe the lack of a sufficiently loud narrative of success. But now, when we are the presidency in the European Union council, we have a chance to re -define who we are in the European family. The “We Did It in Poland” campaign is an invitation. On the one hand, directed to Poles to proudly look at their achievements. We all need examples of impressive achievements that will inspire us. On the other hand, we send important information to the world to start seeing Poland not through the prism of the past, but the future. We also encourage you to cooperate with Polish companies, emphasizing the economic potential and innovation of Poland on the international arena.
During my work in EU institutions, I saw many campaigns promoting various countries and their achievements. Each nation has its own history of success. We too. Time to tell her. Because we did it in Poland – and we can do even more.
