A giant Chinese investment in Poland. Hundreds of new jobs

The first shovels for the construction of a new Chinese Kingfa SCI group. & Tech Co. Ltd has already been dug. This means that in the future a giant investment will be built around Szprotawa, which will provide hundreds of jobs.

First The details of the Chinese investment in Wiechlice were given at the end of 2023, when the mayor of Szprotawa and the general director of Kingfa SCI. & Tech Co. LTD signed a contract for the sale of a 14 hectare plot. This is where a new production plant will be built. It will be built In the area where the Soviet airport was once. The Chinese investor paid PLN 11 million for the plot.
Although it was originally informed that the opening of the plant was to take place at the turn of 2024/2025, only now the real start of the investment really begins. The plant that will be built in Wiechlice will be the largest facility of Kingfa in Europe. Plans assume that it will achieve an impressive production capacity of 300,000. tons per year.

The Chinese Kingfa concern is a world -leading supplier of biodegradable granules, environmentally friendly plastics. It is used in industries, among others Household appliances, automotive and electronic. The investment will translate into 500 workplace, but the company does not want to have only a production plant.

“At the Szprotawski branch of the Kingfa concern, a research center will be created in the field of producing new technologies, which are sought by the world's largest suppliers of the household appliances,” announced the mayor Mirosław Gąsik.
Kingfa globally employs over 13,000 employees in 20 countries. In Poland, the company is known, among others from the production of masks and medical gloves, as well as from providing components for giants such as Mercedes, Bosch or Siemens.
