Cyprus has a very good coach. He did very well at ARIS. Now he has taken over the national team, from the middle of the field up he has very fast players, from the internal championship. Bosnia lost unmerited. We will have a very difficult match, from the match with us about 5 players from the lot, but from the match with Bosnia they are the same.
It's good that we have another solution, but things are not over. We need to understand that football has evolved worldwide, small teams are preparing at a high level.
The national team is the one that enters the field, no matter who plays. They have responsibility for the public, the indications they will receive. I was hoping that group of players would last for another 4-5 years, but the injuries came. They played a little at clubs, the injuries come faster.
I would have preferred to have a homogeneous group to rely on, just like a club. Each one must respect some very valuable principles.
Everyone has to participate, everyone has to earn their bread. I do my duty as it is done, with what I have available, I try to give everything and to send them everything. Not here their career stops, not with a result.
They permanently need a man to provide them with their education in football. I could not believe that at such a level some things are neglected. I really appreciate players, I know what efforts to make to perform.
