The Romanian women's handball national team managed to avoid the disaster at the European Championship U17, after 2 clear victories in front of Turkey (27-41) and Northern Macedonia (25-40), which saved it from relegation.

In the first 6 matches of the European U17 women's championship, Romania has registered a balance of 2 draws and 4 defeatsreaching to fight for places 21-24 and be seriously threatened in the first step of the competition.
