In Krasnoyarsk, the Bogotolsky lane will be closed for traffic.
The city hall explained that travel from Kopylov Street to house number 8a on Menzhinsky Street will be banned from June 12. Signs and fence will be installed on the road. To the houses No. 6 and 8 on Menzhinsky Street it will be possible to drive up from the side of Novosibirsk Street.
Bus No. 90 will not go to the lane, but move on Kopylov to Kopylov to Lado Ketskholyli Street. Thus, the stops of “Bogotolsky Lane”, “Menzhinsky Street”, “Slavic Bazaar” and “Novosibirsk Street” will be excluded from his route.

Deputy Head of the city – Head of the Department of Urban Planning, Sergei Shikunov, explained that the ceiling is associated with archaeological excavations. Scientists will work until next year, and then the construction of the road will begin. It will take 17 months.
The new road will connect the streets of Kopylova and Novosibirsk. The carriageway for 676 meters will become bilateral, two lanes in each direction. On the site, sidewalks will be built, stopped, and traffic lights will be equipped.
The archaeologist Zoya Gaidakova said that the lane is located within the boundaries of the monuments of the archaeological heritage of federal significance: the parking “Afonova Gora-I” and “Krasnoyarsk. The ground burial ground “Bogotolsky”.
“For the first time, finds of about 140 years ago Ivan Savenkov were found here. In open work, he found guns and fauna, which belonged to the Paleolithic era. Thanks to them, Krasnoyarsk became famous in the world scientific environment, it was the second city where Paleolithic tools were found. Our task is to find tools of the same period that Savenkov found and give a new scientific recognition to Krasnoyarsk, ”said Zoya Gaidakova.
Archaeologists have already found a scraper – this is the first cutting knife of the Stone Age people. He is more than 11 thousand years old. Another bright find is pre -Bison the remains of the bison, they also date back to the Paleolithic era. In total, archaeologists have to examine the soil manually at a depth of 5 meters over the entire area of the identified monuments.
