On the federal highway in the Berezovsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the driver of a car provoked a frontal accident with a truck and died.
Everything happened on June 9 in the evening at 866 km of the R-255 Siberia road. According to GAI, the 29-year-old Mercedes-Benz driver, moving from Kansk in the direction of Krasnoyarsk, could not cope with the control and drove into the oncoming lane, where he crashed into a Freightliner Century car with a semi-trailer under the control of a 46-year-old man.

“As a result of the accident, the driver of the car died at the scene before the ambulance arrived. His 31-year-old passenger was taken to a hospital with multiple injuries. It was established that both men were not fastened with seat belts, ”the traffic police said.
Eyewitnesses in social networks also said that the Mercedes driver was driving at high speed and created many emergency situations.
Currently, the police continue to find out all the circumstances of the accident.
