Jermak, who visited Washington in the past week, informed on Ukrainian television that support for his country was felt every day.
– The visit of the Ukrainian delegation was also an important stage of preparation for the meeting of the President of Ukraine and the President of the USA, which is to take place during the G7 summit in Canada – he emphasized.
– We discussed key issues: further military support, including anti -cancer defense, as well as economic cooperation. President Zelanski clearly presented our position: Ukraine is ready to buy weapons and equipment as part of joint programs, strengthening its defense skills in strategic cooperation with partners – said Jermak.
He revealed that during talks in Washington, a sanction policy towards Russia was discussed.
– Ukraine hopes that the US Senate will support the law on tightening sanctions against Russia, including the so -called secondary sanctions against countries and companies helping to bypass restrictions. This is a specific step towards reducing Russia's income from the sale of oil and other energy raw materials – he said.
– We operate systemically – both on the battlefield and diplomacy. Together with our allies, we increase pressure on the aggressor and mobilize the entire free world to support Ukraine – said Jermak, quoted on his own social networks.
