Jill Biden in Poland. Was the first lady of the USA: I believe in the strength of change

“That I am a teacher makes me believe so much in the strength of change. Every day changes take place in the classroom. Knowledge is growing and awareness is expanding. And suddenly the things that once seemed impossible are within reach, “said Dr. Jill Biden during a visit to the conference.
“I was used to speaking up to 30 people in the classroom, but suddenly I stood in front of thousands of people, speaking on behalf of the President of the United States. I could not miss the chance to change in the issues I wanted. I promised myself that I would never miss this opportunity. Problems around us are often huge, but none of us can fix the whole world themselves. We just have to do what we can” – she noted.
Jill Biden began his visit to Poland by visiting Rio Edu Centrum – a space created by Omen Mensah and Rafał Brzoska just after the outbreak of the war in Ukraine. Today it is a modern place of psychological, educational and artistic support, open to children and women from Poland, Ukraine and other corners of the world.
A day later, Dr. Jill Biden appeared as one of the main speakers during the business part of the event. In the “influence force: how women shape the future” Jill Biden together with Jolanta Kwasniewska – the former first lady of the Republic of Poland – they talked about the importance of education and initiatives changing the lives of women and children.
On Saturday, June 7, the final gala will take place – Top Charity Auction 2025, during which unique works of art and unique experiences will be traditionally auctioned. This year's edition is attended by, for example, Opera Gallery, who donated the unique work of Jeff Koons for the auction – one of the most expensive auctioned artists in the world.
“Top Charity, in which we organize both the business part – Changmakers – and the Great Charity Gala, is an initiative created by the entire Polish business, also engaging leaders from the Central Europe region – emphasized Rafał Brzoska.
