France will produce drones together with Ukraine and in its territory

France Minister Sebastien Lecorn said on Friday that France would produce drones together with Ukraine. He did not provide closer details. The devices are also to be equipped with the French army.

“Soon we will start a completely unprecedented partnership, under which a large manufacturer of French cars will join forces with a company from the small and medium -sized enterprises sector from the defense industry to equip production lines in Ukraine and produce drones” – announced the head of the French Ministry of Defense on television.

Lecorn did not reveal the type or manufacturer of the devices. He added, however, that drones would also be equipped with French troops, “so that we could conduct continuous tactical and operational training.” The Ukrainian side is to provide feedback on how to use devices in combat conditions.

Lecornu announced that the production line would be created in Ukraine, but did not provide closer details. (PAP)
