In the regional Ministry of Emergencies, they talked about the fire hazard of poplar fluff.

As a rule, poplar fluff is easily ignited, burns like gunpowder – instantly, in all directions. It is almost impossible to stop such a fire on your own, they are warned in the Ministry of Emergencies.

So, on June 14, 2022, the facade of the cafe burned down in Krasnoyarsk. The inquiry officers of the Russian Ministry of Emergencies found that a 39-year-old man walked with his wife and saw a cluster of poplar fluff at the facade of the building. The citizen decided to set fire to him, however, according to him, he quickly extinguished and left. It turned out that in the facade there was a recess where the smoldering fluff caught a fire.

To avoid fires, the fluff should be removed in time. There, people often store combustible substances (for example, car oils), so the fire can lead to a large fire. It is also necessary to conduct conversations with children and adolescents about the inadmissibility of setting fire to Pooh. And even older relatives will not be superfluous to remind you.

Near the places where the “summer snow” lies, you can not breed bonfires, burn foliage and garbage. The Ministry of Emergencies remind that in the Krasnoyarsk Territory there is still a special fire regime, which also prohibits breeding open fire.

On the territory of private houses and organizations, you need to install barrels of water and place fire extinguishers, sand tanks, etc.

“If you saw that the fluff is on, then do not try to trample the fire – so you will only smash it. The fluff is very light, and from the strokes of the legs, it quickly spreads to the sides. It is better to extinguish it with a car fire extinguisher, water, earth or sand, ”they warn in the department.
