Russian kerosene giant, the goal of Ukraine? “Large cloud of black smoke”


In the Russian city of Kstowo in the Low-New-Nowogrodzki region Unmanned aerial vehicles carried out an unexpected attack on the industrial zone.
Officially, the media report on an attack on a bitumen factory. Some eyewitnesses say that the attacked enterprise was the Lukoil Refinery.
Lukoil is one of the largest Russian oil and gas companiesfounded in 1991 by a merger of three enterprises from Western Siberia: Langepasneftegaz, Urayneftegaz and Kogalemneftegaz. It is currently the second largest producer of oil in Russia, right after the state rosneft.

The company employs over 100,000 people and operate in over 30 countries, although in recent years this number has decreased to 14 due to geopolitical sanctions and restrictions.
Lukoil is crucial for the Russian economy as the largest private enterprise in the country in terms of revenues. In Russia, it has about 2,500 petrol stations in 65 regions. The company also plays an important role in the export of Russian oil, especially to Central European countries such as Hungary and Slovakia.
Massive drone attacks
In recent days there has been a series of massive drone attacks carried out by Ukrainians for purposes in Russia and in the occupied areas. The purpose of the attacks are, among others Logistics and supply points in Russia and the Belgorodzki, Kurski, Lipecki, Bryński, Orłowski, Woroneski, Tambowski, Saratowski, Volgograd and Rostowski region.
