“I do not think that, when trying to choose the reformist government, I will use my time well, and therefore I give up the position,” Yusuf wrote. He did not provide any details.

The UK reform party, which is headed by Nigel Farage, won a breakthrough five places in parliament in the election in July last year, and in last month it achieved a good result in elections to local authorities. Currently, the formation conducts popularity in polls, ahead of the work party of Prime Minister Keira Starmer.

In recent months, divisions inside the UK reforms have revealed. In March, the party sent a report to the police regarding one of its parliamentarians, Rupert Lowe, in connection with reports of the threats of physical violence on his part against Yusuf. The prosecutor's office, however, decided that it would not be charged.

On Thursday, Yusuf described as a “stupid” question of the parliamentary reforms UK Sarah Zabin to the prime minister, whether the government will consider the ban on wearing a burka.

Yusuf, who is not a parliamentarian, became the chairman of the party last year. (PAP)
