The Act on the openness of the prices of apartments signed. A new obligation for developers

President Andrzej Duda signed a law that obliges developers to publish the prices of offered apartments and single -family houses – the president's office informed.

“The Act of May 21, 2025 amending the act on the protection of the rights of the buyer of a dwelling or a single -family house and a development guarantee fund aims to impose on developers and other entrepreneurs offering the sale of residential premises or single -family houses in the field of informing about the prices of sold residential premises or single -family houses”

It has been added that the introduced regulations are to guarantee reliable and current information, in particular the price, necessary for people interested in purchasing a residential premises or a single -family house.

“The obligation to inform about the sale of real estate will be carried out through the developer or entrepreneur offering the sale of residential premises or single -family houses” – it was written.

It was noted that by providing information about the price of a sq m of usable area of ​​each of the offered residential premises or single -family houses and the entire property or parts thereof, which is the subject of the contract, the developer is also obliged to provide the price of belonging rooms.

The developer is also required to inform about the price change and present the price of the price in the period from the date of commencement of sales, updating information on its website.

On this act, the Minister of Funds and Regional Policy Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz met with President Andrzej Duda; After the meeting, she reported that the president would sign the new regulations. (PAP Biznes)
