New large -scale emissions of fuel oil on the coast of the Krasnodar Territory are expected on Friday.
Scientists tracked the wind with the help of pictures from space and said that on Thursday the northwest stream would change to the South-the oil product would drag to the shore.
Now the substance is being collected on the coastline with a length of 50 kilometers. In some places, a layer of fuel in the sand reaches 20 centimeters. Volunteers have already collected about 80 tons of oil products and cleaned about eight kilometers of the Black Sea coast. In parallel, volunteers with a team of doctors together save birds. The monitoring group is engaged in the search for injured animals. Featins are literally washed from fuel oil. 30 birds are already safe.
