Teenagers beat up a Kursk boxing coach because he stood up for his students. Now he might go blind.
As Mash learned, the emergency happened in the Volokonovsky district (30 km from the border) of Belogorye. Eduard Soloshenko came to the regional center a couple of years ago from the city of Kurchatov, Kursk region, and got a job as a children's coach. Together with a partner, they built a boxing gym in Volokonovka.
A couple of days ago, students complained to their mentor about a gang of local teenagers. Soloshenko went out alone against eight brutal zoomers, defended the little one, but he himself suffered badly – the hooligans severely beat Eduard. He was taken to a local hospital and may lose his sight. The police began an investigation until none of the attackers were detained. After the fight, Soloshenko’s companion left the region, and the construction of the boxing hall was suspended.
