Four family doctors from Dolj were detained for 24 hours in a deception file, being accused of collecting over 950,000 lei from the Dolj Health Insurance House by setting 14,500 hours of guard, without being at work.
The facts have happened over the last five years. The investigations are aimed at crimes of deception, computer false, misappropriation, intellectual false and use.
“From the research it was established that, between 2020 and January 2025, several family doctors, organized at the level of permanent centers in Dolj County, would be settled, at the level of CAS Dolj, as a result of medical services, about 14,500 hours of guard, worth about 955,250 lei. According to the police, the settlements were made by transmitting computer data.
One of the family doctors, in order to ensure the collection of significant amounts of money at the level of CAS Dolj, concluded an individual fictitious work contract with a general medicine doctor, in a contractual relationship with the public institution, according to IPJ Dolj.
“The latter would not have performed a guard service at the Permanence Center where the family doctor operated. From the probative material it appears that, following the fictitious employment, the family doctor would have received about 100,000 lei, by falsely preparing payment states,” say IPJ Dolj representatives.
Seven people were taken to the hearings by Dolj Economic Crime investigations on Thursday, and four people, medical medical professionals were detained. Doctors will be presented to the court on Friday, with a proposal for a preventive arrest for 30 days.
According to IPJ Dolj, insurance measures have been established until the amount of the amount that constitutes damage in the file.
