Specialists of the Krasnoyarsk Rospotrebnadzor shared the rules for combating the smell of sweat. It occurs due to contact of sweat with microbes on the skin.

The most basic recommendations are shower twice a day, daily change of linen, rejection of acute, spicy, salt, caffeine and alcohol, less stress.

An important role is played by the choice of the right tool for sweat. How do they differ?

Deodorants do not affect no sweating, mask the smell and contain antibacterial components. The effect of them is temporary.

Antiperspirants, on the contrary, regulate sweating, blocking the work of the sweat glands for a short time. The product does not affect bacteria. Antiperspirants contain aluminum salts.

Crystalline deodorants are made of natural mineral salt. They have an antimicrobial effect, and the effect of use lasts up to 24 hours. Apply deodorant immediately after the shower, while the skin is wet. Experts noted that at first such a tool can increase sweating and an unpleasant odor, since the skin and sweat glands need time to adapt.

When choosing a product, you need to rely on individual characteristics. With light sweating, an ordinary deodorant is suitable. People with increased sweating should choose an antiperspirant. If it does not help, and the smell has changed a lot, it is better to consult a doctor. It will help to find out the reason.
