Interview seven leaders in the PSD talk about the imminent decision that the party has to make. What do I say about Nicușor Dan and Ilie Bolojan / “The head of ANAF is more important than who is the prime minister”

“The president must eventually have the sense of reality and see to what extent the Parliament holds one version or another,” says the leader of PSD Maramures, in the dialogue with Hotnews.
- The central management of the PSD decided on Monday to consult all the elected officials of the party whether or not to enter the government. All local councilors, all mayors, all parliamentarians will be asked. The vote is to take place at the beginning of next week, according to Hotnews information.
Adrian Solomon, PSD Vaslui

“We will see what work variant it is. It will vote, it is an electronic system, the vote is secret, I will not coordinate people, because it is a rather sensitive issue and it is good to take every man with a decision in the party, from the farthest mayor in the country, to the largest leader of the party,” he says, ”
Asked if Nicușor Dan can impose Ilie Bolojan, as a prime minister, Solomon says directly: “Let's see the Parliament, but it can, because the Romanian people have expressed. We do not have to draw their red lines, because you cannot go to a collaboration with the barrier in front.”
He also says he does not know if PSD should accept the Bolojan Premier variant: “It depends on what to accept.
“We will see if after the discussions will be made from our party a proposal like this. In the public space I saw that it is only Mr. Bolojan for the time being, and from the president, and from the PNL. We discuss discussions. Let's see, things are only at the beginning of the debate.
Gabriel Zetea, PSD Maramureș

“Let's see if the things required by the PSD, related to the protection of the purchasing power, that is, without entering the lives of people, as it happened in 2009, with pension and salaries. Let's see if maintaining the financing for the local authorities and for the high investment projects represents a priority for the future Coalition,” Zetea says.
He says that after the discussions about the government program will be concluded, only “we have something to join or not.”
Asked about Nicușor Dan's desire to have Ilie Bolojan Premier, he remembers the “parliamentary mathematics”.
“It is chosen at the president's proposal, but following the majority of the Parliament. So the president must eventually have the sense of reality and see to what extent the Parliament holds one version or another,” argues the PSD Maramureș president.
“It is more important who will be the head of ANAF”
He also said that, from his point of view, it is more important who will be the head of ANAF and attacked PNL. “For five, six years, this function belongs to a particular party, that is, the appointments are made by PNL, and we are not talking about the maximum important things, the reduction of tax evasion, which means 10% of GDP, about not enrolling the certain amounts of VAT, which are behind excise duties, the invoices issued.
He does not want the PSD to ask during the negotiations the head of certain state institutions, but says that “it is important to choose the right person there.”
“The head of the ANAF is more important in the conditions in which we speak today about VAT and tax evasion, than who is the prime minister. At the prime minister we understood, what are the political principles, a government program that goes ahead, but to find a head to ANAF that will finally make the budget, but not to make the budget, They have been in this country for decades, some protect the others, ”says Gabriel Zetea.
The politician states that some state institutions, like ANAF, “protects the evasionists”: “otherwise I do not explain how these huge uncomfortable amounts are reached.”
Romeo Lungu, PSD Buzău

“Some mayors say they would like to enter the government, some would not want to enter the government. They were waiting to see what negotiations are, with what variants they will come, prime minister, economic measures, political measures. That is, they want to see what program will come, that it is easy to put the prime minister, the ministers,”
He says he does not know if Ilie Bolojan will be appointed or not prime minister and states that the mayors are not very name of the prime minister.
“The mayors are thinking about continuing the distribution of funds on” Anghel Saligny “(n. Red.: National Investment Program), on water, channel, asphalt. That is, they have many projects in progress, they think somehow, in the end, the name will not matter, who will be prime minister, the projects started,” explains the county leader.
Alfred Simonis, PSD Timiș

“Not all the votes of Mr. Nicușor Dan are votes for Ilie Bolojan. I voted with Nicușor Dan, but I did not vote for Bolojan Premier. I voted with Mr. Nicușor Dan rather anti-simion and probably another 2-3 million people who are fishermen or other political color have done the same as me, ”says Alfred Simonis (40 years old) about the desired version by the president.
He claims that “a compromise formula, acceptable by all pro-European parties” must be found: “A government program that will pass Romania through all this situation.
Mihai Fifor, PSD Arad

“It seems to me a wise decision to decide even after consulting with colleagues in the territory. I categorically had discussions. My colleagues want to go to government. I talk about my branch. My primary colleagues want to go to government,” says Mihai Fifor (55 years).
He refused to comment on the Ilie Bolojan Premier version.
Bogdan Trif, PSD Sibiu

“When we have all the data I will tell you my opinion. We have a national negotiation team,” said Bogdan Trif (48 years). Did not want to provide other details
Bogdan Barbu, PSD Covasna

The 38-year-old social-democrat supports the entry of the party to government, “Only if he has the guarantee that he can positively influence the government and implement the social and economic policies that he has constantly supported.”
About the Bolojan-Premier version, he says that “any proposal for the position of prime minister must be the result of a real consultation between parties, not just an ad. The legitimacy must come from a solid and transparent political support.”
“If the PSD should accept this variant, it depends on the context and concrete conditions of the collaboration. The PSD does not have to accept a government formula that does not respect the priorities of its program or which excludes the real dialogue and partnership,” the PSD county leader considers.
