The National Energy Regulatory Authority responds to the accusations of the Association of Survers, who argues that it is not fair to pay for the energy transportation to Transelectrica, unless the electricity generated by the prosumers does not go through the high voltage network.
- “The transport network does not work on the principle” pay only if you use it directly “. APCE statements reflect, again, a superficial and lacking professional approach, ”says ANRE.
- The energy system cannot be compared to a taxi that starts the device only when the customer climbs. The safety of the national energy system depends on the continuous balancing of the entire network – a complex and essential effort made by the Transelectrica specialists. Even if this service is not visible to all consumers, it exists and is indispensable, the representatives of the authority states.
They claim that Transelectrica does not collect undue amounts.
“There are no income obtained” unfairly “. All Transelectrica revenues are established by ANRE by clear, transparent and in accordance with the legislation in force. These amounts cover exclusively the costs related to the operation and operation of the transport and system operator in Romania. No more, no less.
Therefore, the accusation that Transelectrica “reached unfairly” is completely unfounded, the regulator states.
ANRE also stated that the development of the prosumers sector in Romania represents a success to which the authority has actively contributed by simplifying the regulations, promoting facilities and creating a development framework.
“But the transformation of each invoice into a pretext of dispute and each rate into a” conspiracy “does not contribute to the progress of the energy sector or to the correct information of the public,” the statement said.
APCE claims that Romanians should not pay transport rates for the energy generated by prosumers
The Romanian consumers paid in invoices 18 million euros to Transelectrica, last year, in the account of the energy transport tariffs, although the electricity produced by the prosumers does not circulate through the high voltage network managed by this company, according to a statement sent by the Association of Provoments and Energy Communities.
It is a quantity of 1.2 TWh of electricity, as much as last year's production means prosumers. This energy only circulates through the low and medium voltage network, managed by distributors, and does not reach the high voltage, so Transelectrica had no right to collect this amount of money, according to the association.
Romanians paid for nothing 18 million euros in Transelectrica last year for an unprocessed service, says the Association of Providers
