On Monday, during a visit to Lithuania on the occasion of the summit of the B9 and Nordic countries, dedicated to, among others Strengthening the defense of the Eastern Flanka NATO, President Duda gave an interview with Lithuanian public television LRT. He commented in it, among others The results of the second round of presidential elections in Poland and evaluated the upcoming presidency, the winning election, Karol Nawrocki.

Duda, when asked about the negative attitude of Karol Nawrocki to the idea of admitting Ukraine to NATO and the European Union, said that their future conversation would concern, among others these topics. “I have a different view on these issues, it results, among others From the presidential experience, from almost ten years and the knowledge I gathered through this doll. I will definitely want to share this knowledge” – said Duda, quoted by the president's office.
“The point of view depends on the point of sitting. From the presidential chair, the world looks a little different” – he added.

He noted that he is positive about the vision of the presidency of Karol Nawrocki. “I am very satisfied with this result. I believe that Karol Nawrocki will continue to conduct Polish affairs. We both left the same political camp, so I hope to continue the idea of cooperation in our part of Europe” – emphasized Duda.

The president also reported that during a conversation with Karol Nawrocki he would advise him to continue Poland's good relations with Lithuania.
