Asked on Tuesday about the unprecedented attack with Ukrainian drones against his military aviation and about the collapse of two bridges on Sunday in Russia, the Kremlin avoided answering the question.

The spokesman of the Russian Presidency, Dmitri Peskov, only asked to wait for the “results of the investigation” and referred to the communications of the Ministry of Defense, reports AFP and Agerpres.

On Sunday, Ukrainian security services performed an attack on Russian aviation, launching drones that managed to reach the Russian territory thousands of kilometers away from the front. Two bridges also collapsed in the border regions with Ukraine, causing fatal railway accidents, but the Russian authorities did not accuse Kiev of being related to these incidents.

The Kremlin announced on Tuesday that Russia has launched an official investigation into Ukrainian Drone attacks since last week on its military aerodromes and an investigation into two explosions that have affected its railway network.

Ukraine said he used drones to attack the aerial bases, some of which were thousands of kilometers from his territory, in Siberia, hitting dozens of Russian war aircraft, including long -range bombers and nuclear capacity.

The Russian army said that “more” of its planes caught fire at two air bases due to the attack and that drone attacks on three other aerodromes were rejected.

On Sunday, in a separate incident, at least seven people were killed and 69 were injured when a road bridge in the Russian Briansk region, neighbor to Ukraine, was thrown into the air and a portion collapsed over a passenger train to Moscow with 388 people on board.

A railway bridge collapsed on Saturday night through Sunday when a locomotive passed over it in the Kursk region of southwest Russia, shortly after the similar incident in the Bljensk region.
