Jan Sekaci and Daria Tudor at the Radio Hall

Since October 2018, there is the Radio Romania Musical Project “Musical Romania's heirs”.

We started with three days of piano recitals at the Radio Hall and reached one of the relevant projects to promote young Romanian musicians: recitals and concerts at the Radio and Ateneu Hall (over 40 already), tournaments in the country, Radio recordings, 4 albums published at Casa Radio Publishing House, Radio and TV broadcasts, in Romania, in Romania, and for the radio, and for the radio, and in Romania Classic, a scholarship now worth 4500 euros, which also comes with numerous other professional benefits, for young musicians between the ages of 16 and 24, proposals and confirmations for the “Young Artist of the Year” award at the International Classical Awards Awards Gala, of whose jury are part.
All this, based on what is called public-private partnership, the financing being almost entirely by Rotary Club Pipera.
I had the opportunity to discover and rediscover young Romanian musicians relevant at international level, together with the National Jury “Musical Romania's heirs”, made up of the directors of some of the most well -known and important Romanian musical institutions, those who know best, through the prism of their work every today, what to do for a performance.
Last year, the Exchange of the Music Romania's heirs worth 4500 euros was won by the cellist Jan Sekaci, born in Oradea, formed in Cluj and Bucharest, then, a student at the Barenboim Said Academy in Berlin, where he is Masterand today. I noticed Jan Sekaci since 2022, when he participated for the first time in the competition for this scholarship; It was individualized by the special experience printed to his interpretations, obviously, not being able to have a very solid technique, which allows him to build in the field of expressiveness. He was invited a soloist to the Radio Chamber Orchestra and the National Radio Orchestra, in 2024, as part of this scholarship, and these features were again highlighted, in higher terms.
On June 10, you have the opportunity to listen to this artist so special at the Radio Hall, in a recital supported by the pianist Daria Tudor, a presence already familiar to the public in Bucharest, in part and thanks to the project of the musical Romania, in which the pianist appeared starting with 2021. employed at the Said Barenboim Academy in Berlin.
I know that recitals do not have a renowned renowned for the public in Romania, as I know there are many efforts made by musicians to familiarize the Romanian public with chamber music. In any case, if you want to discover who is a truly artist, room music is a favorable territory, moreover, maybe even more tender than a concert with soloist and orchestra; And if you want to escape from the stressful reality of our day, a music event of one hour of music accompanied by a friendly presentation, without break, is an optimal solution.
On June 10, four well -known works will be listened to on the stage of the Radio Room: Claude Debussy's Sonata, 5 pieces in popular style by Robert Schumann, Sonata no. 2 by Brahms and the Lutărești de Pablo of Sarasate. A very accessible sound universe, alive, of certain quality, recreated by two very talented musicians.
It is true, quite something other than the speakers screaming on all the terraces, with the maximum. We live in a very noisy universe, almost at the limit of bearable (not to ask ourselves why we are always so nervous and aggressive, there is an explanation here). A recital like the one proposed by Jan Sekaci and Daria Tudor means to discover what, in fact, good music means, to enter the intimacy of each sound and every breath of those who, with emotion, climb on stage. A journey into the intimacy of humanity. I am waiting for you to travel together 🙂
