At the time of the attack, in the center of Boulder, there was a walk in memory of the Israeli hostages that remained in Gaza.

The victims of the attack include four women and four men between the ages of 52 and 88, the police said.

Rabbi Israel Wilhelm, director of Chabad at the University of Colorado Boulder, announced that the 88 -year -old victim is a refugee of the Holocaust who has fled Europe. Another victim is a teacher at Cu, Wilhelm said.

Two other victims were transported by helicopter to his burnt unit. Four other people were taken to Boulder Community Health, the police said.

The director of the FBI, Kash Patel, and the deputy director of the FBI, Dan Bongino, described the incident as “A terrorist attack”,

“The National Center for Contractorism collaborates with the FBI and the local law enforcement authorities to investigate the targeted terrorist attack against a weekly meeting of the Jewish community who had just gathered in Boulder, CO, to raise public opinion on the defeated hostages during the 7th October.” said the director of the National Intelligence Service, Tulsi Gabbard.

The governor of the state of Colorado, Jared Polis, who is a Jew, condemned the attack in a press release, saying that it was a “Act odious and targeted on the Jewish community.”

“While the Jewish community is retreating after the recent anti -Semitic crimes in Washington, DC, it is incomprehensible that the community is facing another anti -Semitic attack here, in Boulder, on the eve of the Shavuot holiday,” Polis said.

Ed Victor, who participated in the walk, said he was organizing these silent marches every week from the Hamas terrorist attack on October 7, 2023, to raise public opinion on the hostages still in Gaza. They stop at the court to sing songs, tell stories and read the names of the hostages every week. He said that about 30 people participated in the march on Sunday.

Victor said that the participants in the march are occasionally faced with Huidieli, but try not to respond and continue Pearl Street.
