A small plane collapsed on Saturday over a house in Korschenbroich, in western Germany, in an event that resulted in two people, said the North-Westfalia Land Rhine, according to Deutsche Welle and Sky News.
The town is near the city of Monchengladbach, not far from the border with the Netherlands.
The police said the plane hit the terrace of a house around noon, and then a fire broke out.

The pilot was from Dusseldorf and seems to have been alone in the aircraft, the police said.
According to DW and DPA, it is unclear whether the other victim was still on the plane or on the ground.
The firefighters intervened in large numbers and managed to extinguish the flames quickly. Authorities are now taking steps to determine the cause of the aviation event.
