The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) issued on Sunday, June 1, a yellow code warning and strong wind for 16 counties, valid between 14:00 and 20:00.

The targeted areas are: Maramureș, Cluj, Alba, Bistrița-Năsăud, Mureș, Harghita, Covasna, Brașov, Argeș, Dâmbovița, Prahova, Buzău, Vrancea, Bacău, Neamț and Suceava.

According to meteorologists, in these counties, the atmospheric instability will be accentuated, manifesting through torrential showers, electric shocks, short-term intensifications (50 … 70 km/h), as well as hail and hail falls.

Authorities recommend citizens in the affected areas to be cautious during severe weather phenomena and to avoid non -essential movements in the warning range.

Weather in Bucharest: warmer, with showers toward the evening

The weather will continue to warm up in the capital, with the maximum temperatures reaching 28 degrees Celsius. According to the special forecast of ANM for Bucharest, the sky will be variable, with temporarily accentuated clouds, when showers and electric shocks will be reported.

Amounts of water between 3 and 5 l/sqm will be recorded, and isolated 10 l/sqm. The wind will be weak and moderate, with temporary intensifications during the rains.

The maximum estimated temperature is between 26 and 28 degrees.
