The preliminary reason for the explosion in the Alania Mall shopping center in Vladikavkaz is a gas leak in the restaurant “Sky” on the third floor. Locals say that before the emergency they smelled of gas in the air.
Firefighters launched a staircase in place to extinguish the fire outside and have instant access to the hearth.
The wreckage from the explosion damaged two cars in the parking lot.
