The National Labor Inspectorate (PIP) will be equipped with new rights as part of the completed revision of the National Reconstruction Plan (KPO). This is one of the most important changes approved in the document, which on Wednesday, May 28, officially confirmed the Minister of Funds and Regional Policy Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz.

– We received a document from the European Commission, which ultimately confirms the arrangements regarding the change of the National Reconstruction Plan (KPO). Changes, which was supposed to be small and turned out to be the greatest. It takes into account all five points that reflect the strategic and development goals of Poland-emphasized Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz, Minister of Funds and Regional Policy during a press conference.
One of the most important modifications is resignation from the mandatory contribution of all civil law contractssuch as mandate contracts or for a work. In return, a significant strengthening of PIP competences, which is to enforce the provisions of labor law, was intended.
In practice, this means that The National Labor Inspectorate will receive the right to issue administrative decisions transforming incorrectly concluded civil law contracts into employment contracts. According to Interia, the new PIP entitlement will not end there. The website states that the maximum amount of penalties imposed in mandate proceedings will be raised.
However, to improve cooperation between institutions, it is planned to launch a special data exchange channel between PIP, the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) and the National Tax Administration (KAS).
