The legendary Clint Eastwood has sent a message to colleagues for a short time before turning 95: come up with new ideas or leave your job. As for him, Eastwood says he's not going to give up movies until he becomes “really senile”, reports Reuters.

“I miss the good times before, when the screenwriters wrote movies like Casablanca In small bungalows, on the studio field-when everyone came with a new idea. “

Clint Eastwood says Hollywood has lost its originality

“We live in an era of remakes and franchises. I have done film continuations three times, but I am not interested in this. My philosophy is: do something new or stay home,” added Eastwood, who also spoke in a December interview about the philosophy that guided during his long career.

Asked where he was taking his energy, Eastwood said in the new interview:

“There is no reason why a man could not improve with age. And I have much more experience today. Of course, there are directors who lose their artistic sense at a certain age, but I am not one of them.”

Eastwood, who will turn 95 on Saturday, says the secret of his success was that he has always tried something new, both as a director and as an actor.

Eastwood won 4 Oscar awards but none as an actor

“As an actor, I was still under contract with a studio, I was part of the old system, and so I was forced to learn something new every year,” he said. “And that is why I will work as long as I can learn something or until I really become senile,” he stressed.

Although he is one of the emblematic actors in the history of cinema, Eastwood has never won the Oscar for best actor.

But he triumphed 4 times, as a director and producer, thanks to his films UnFORGIVEN (1992) and Million Dollar Baby (2004). He received two statues for each of the two feature film as they also won the Oscar for the best film, granted to the producers of a movie.
