A resident of Uzhur after a quarrel with his wife set fire to the house and destroyed his 12-year-old daughter

A resident of Uzhur arranged arson and became the culprit of the death of his own daughter. Irina Miroshnikova, the Commissioner for the Rights of the Children in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, spoke about this story in her report for 2024.
The man got drunk after a quarrel with his wife and decided to take revenge on her, arranging arson at home with a flammable liquid.
Mother and youngest son of 7 years old managed to run out of a burning building, suggesting that the 12-year-old daughter also saved. However, the girl did not have time to leave the house, as a result of injuries she died in the hospital.
Realizing what happened, the father committed suicide. The Ombudsman adds that family members have never been on preventive accounting. Criminal cases were terminated in connection with the death of the suspect.
