“The constant use of AI models can destroy the classic approach to education and reduce the literacy of future experts,” said Alexei Fetisov, general director of T1 IT Holding, at the plenipotentiary technology: exemption from routine or path to digital slavery? ” As part of the PHDAYS 2025 cyber festival.
Nevertheless, the use of AI capabilities for the hyperpersonalization of the learning process of each student, on the contrary, will enhance the training of qualified personnel, he added.
85 % of Russian students use AI in study. Of these: 70 % are looking for information, 43 % use AI to write coursework and abstracts, and 36 % for generating images. Despite the tangible benefit that these technologies bring, there are risks – They must be level now.
For example, many students, including students, use AI not only as an assistant, but completely shift the entire learning process to him. During the discussion, Alexei Fetisov noted that this excludes the assimilation of fundamental knowledge and skills by future specialists.
At the same time, the speaker emphasized that despite possible negative scenarios, the use of AI in education remains one of the effective ways to make it more effective.
“Teachers need to look for an individual approach to each student, adapting the educational material to his interests, but it is extremely difficult to implement this in practice. Today, and technologies are able to record human preferences: his tastes, communication style and much more. The creation of hyperpersonalized AI, which is able to pay additional attention to each student and offer educational content in an interesting format for him, will help to qualitatively increase the effectiveness of training, ”said Alexei Fetisov.
In his opinion, it is necessary to act in this direction now, so that the generation that has been made by the “boom” of and technologies does not lose the ability to classical training. This will allow future graduates to successfully make up for the lack of qualified specialists in the labor market.
The widespread implementation of AI, covering all sectors of the economy and especially the IT sector, helps maintain the dynamics of digital development in the conditions of acute shortage of personnel in the market. Nevertheless, the scaling of the use of AI itself does not eliminate the shortage of competent employees.
