Fiorentina eliminated AS Roma, in the semifinals of the Primavera championship, and in the end an ugly scurfing broke out in which members of both teams participated. In a statement later published, AS Roma makes Nicolo Zaniolo responsible for the whole conflict: “AS Roma announces that, at the end of today's match, an unfortunate incident took place in which the player Nicolò Zaniolo was involved.
According to the reconstruction, the player went to the locker room of the Primavera team, at the end of the match, and behaved provocatively towards some of the players of the Gialrorossa youth team. During the confrontation, two players from Primavera were physically assaulted. AS Roma firmly condemns any form of aggressive behavior or which is not in accordance with the values of sport ”.
Nicolo Zaniolo: “They started insulting me and I preferred to leave”
Fiorentina came out with a statement in the public space, which contains Zaniolo's statement about the incident in which she was involved: “Regarding what happened at the end of the Primavera Championship between Fiorentina and Rome, Fiorentina Public Publics the following statement of player Nicolo Zaniolo:
