Supersonic flights with F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter jets: MAPN announces training throughout Romania's entire territory

The Ministry of National Defense (MApN) announced on Tuesday, in a press release, that aircraft aircraft will execute, throughout the country, until June 2, training at small heights.
Thus, until next month, June 2, the aircraft of the Romanian Air Force will execute “training flights at low heights, as well as supersonic flights with F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft, throughout the country, taking all air safety measures and reducing the sound impact on the civilian population”.
“These exercises are intended to contribute to improving the reaction capacity of the aeronautical personnel in any situation,” the quoted press release states.
Last week, MApN announced that two more F-16 aircraft of the 32 used fighter jets bought from Norway reached the 71 “General Emanoil Ionescu” Air Base in Câmpia Turzii.
