“Krasnoyarskenergosbyt” spoke about the consequences of accrued penalties for payments for housing and communal services.
How are penalties calculated? In accordance with the Housing Code, the value of interest for incomplete and untimely depositing fees for housing and communal services (housing and communal services) is determined taking into account the key rate of the Central Bank for the Day of the actual payment from the amount not paid for the time for each day of delay.
Until the end of 2026, when calculating the penalty for delay in payments at housing and communal services, a reduced key rate of 9.5 %is used.
Example: A bill for February is issued, which must be paid until March 10. If it is not paid, then according to the law on the 31st day of delay after payment period-from April 11-interest will be charged. First, 1/300 of the refinancing rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation from the amount of debt for each day, and from the 91st day of delay-1/130 of the rate.

Perhaps for residents of apartment buildings who pay no more than 500 rubles per month and a penny, but for residents of the private sector, happy owners of suburban home and cottages, the penalties will result in a decent amount, ”Energosbyt say.
Public utilities warn that you can find themselves in a situation where the debt becomes unbearable. In addition, such debts affect a financial reputation. It can be more difficult to get a loan, mortgage or even make an important purchase.
“Having not paid on time, you risk not only money. The debt for a communal apartment can become an obstacle to traveling abroad. Imagine that your trip will be at risk only because you have not paid for light or water on time. Think about it: is it worth it? Every day of delay is a growing amount and real problems that can take you by surprise when it will be too late to fix the situation, ”the communal workers warn.
